What our students will learn in Year 8

The year 8 curriculum feeds on from units studied in Year 7; students continue to build and improve locational knowledge and they can apply knowledge of emerging economies to issues of sustainability in a range of countries.

The year 8 curriculum starts to prepare for Year 9 as students will be able to apply knowledge and understanding of weather and ecosystems to the diversity of African landscapes. We explore the issue of sustainability in cities and deforestation in the Amazon.
