Our School Community

Our mission is to ‘create bright futures for all’. With this in mind, we work hard to ensure that every child is happy and well supported on their educational journey with us. We want every student to grow and flourish in our care, for students to feel safe and have space to learn. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit local community college where students are known as individuals, their talents are nurtured, and we are driven by a pursuit of high academic standards.

  • Role: Represent the student body, lead initiatives, and act as ambassadors for the school.

  • Role: Support school events, mentor younger students, and uphold school values.

  • Role: Represent our school at events, uphold our school values and act as role models for other students.

The Importance of Student Voice

  • Student Leadership: Our Student Leadership team is a platform for students to voice their opinions and contribute to school decisions. Meetings are held regularly, and all students are encouraged to participate.
  • Feedback and Suggestions: We value student feedback and our Student Leadership team manage an online form for students to share their ideas and concerns.
  • Student-Led Initiatives: Students are encouraged to lead projects and initiatives that benefit the school community. Recent projects include bake sales, non-uniform days, discos, extra-curricular clubs, recycling initiatives and much more! 

A Sense of Belonging

  • Inclusive Environment: We celebrate diversity and ensure every student feels valued and included. 
  • Support Systems: Our school offers various support systems, including peer mentoring, counseling services, and extracurricular clubs, to help our students thrive.
  • Community Events: We host regular events such as sports days, school quizzes and competitions, and charity drives to bring our community together and foster a sense of belonging.
