Our Open Event Programme for 2027 Admissions
We know that choosing a secondary school is a big decision for families. Our open events are designed to help you feel informed and confident by giving you the chance to visit Rye College, explore our environment, and experience day-to-day school life first-hand as you consider your child’s move to Year 7 in September 2027.
Year 5 Open Mornings 2026
Our Year 5 Open Mornings are designed to give families an early insight into life at Rye College — helping you feel confident about the transition from primary to secondary school.
At Rye College, every child is known, supported and part of a close-knit community, so they can settle quickly and thrive from day one.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the school with our student ambassadors
- Meet staff and senior leaders
- See learning in action

Open Evening 2026
We are delighted to welcome families to our Open Evening on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026.
Our Open Evening is the perfect opportunity to experience life at Rye College and get a real feel for our school community.

Join us for an engaging and informative evening where you can:
- Tour our school and facilities
- Meet our teachers and student ambassadors
- Take part in interactive activities across a range of subjects
Our Open Evening gives you the chance to explore the school at your own pace and experience the energy of a typical Rye College learning environment.
Free parking is available on-site.

Year 6 Open Mornings October 2026
We will be running four Year 6 Open Mornings during October on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th, Wednesday 14th October and Thursday 15th October.
Bookings will open on Thursday, 3rd September.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to:
- Tour the school with our student ambassadors
- Meet staff and senior leaders
- See learning in action
- Experience our welcoming, community-focused environment
Please note, spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and are restricted to a party size of four. Children are most welcome - we recommend that you tour with your child who will be starting secondary school.
A member of our team will email you to confirm your place. Please book early to avoid disappointment and inform us, if you can no longer make the appointment (office@ryecollege.co.uk) so we can offer your place to other families.
