Applying for a Secondary School Place
Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Evening and Open Morning events this year. Our 2026 programme has now concluded.
If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2027, the deadline to submit your secondary school application is 31 October 2026 through your local authority.
Families will be notified of their allocated secondary school place by their local authority on 1 March 2027 (National Offer Day).
If you are offered a place at Rye College, we will be in touch shortly afterwards with a welcome pack and details of our transition programme, including key dates, events and next steps to support your child's move to secondary school.

How to Apply
Applications for September 2027 entry can be made through the East Sussex County Council Website or the Kent County Council Website.
Parents and carers of children born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 should apply during this period to be considered in the first round of allocations. Offers will be issued on 1 March 2027 (National Offer Day).
