Dear new Year 7 students and families,
Welcome to Rye College! We are so pleased you are now part of our amazing school!
To start your journey with us, we have created this special 'transition webpage'.
Rye College is a very safe and welcoming school. All our students were Year 7 students once so they know how you feel.
Our school is a place where you can be yourself, quickly make friends and feel part of our family.

A warm welcome to you from your fellow students at Rye College.
Our Transition programme gives students a great opportunity to familiarise themselves with our school, meet our team, make new friends and to start the preparation for the educational change that is before them. Our activities centre around our core Rye College character values of Proud, Positive, Employable, Kind and Committed and gives students a fantastic opportunity to develop positive relationships with their peers and our team.
Families Coffee Morning
We welcome all families to join us for an informal Coffee Morning on Thursday 13th July between 10.00-11am. This is a great opportunity to meet our team, connect with other families and ask any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you there.
Our Family Handbook contains lots of useful information about our school, including uniform expectations.
