Geography subject leader Mrs Willett led two separate cohorts of Year 7 students to Bedgebury on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th of September. The visit supported students' current work on map skills and ecosystems. The trip included an orienteering challenge around the pinetum and a shelter building challenge in which students had to construct a sturdy weather proof shelter out of natural materials found in the forest. A series of 10 minute challenges also tested the students in both brain and body with communication and leadership skills being the key to success. Overall, both days were a success and students are congratulated on their good work and behaviour.
