As spring gets underway, green shoots appear ahead of the glorious summer to come. In the same way, Rye College has a fresh new look reflecting the significant changes to the building and quality of education being enjoyed by students.

The 'refresh' respects the college's close connection to the ancient town whilst reflecting the modern world in which our students live. At the heart of the updated logo lies the 'Seal of Rye' kindly provided to the college with the approval of Rye Town Council. Surrounding the ship, in concentric circles, are the college's new colours - peacock blue and ivory - providing a nod to the past and the school's founder Thomas Peacocke.

Executive Headteacher, Barry Blakelock, said "it's fantastic to see the college getting a fresh new look - not only does it provide us with a modern identity but also ensures our students respect the long tradition of education in our town going back to 1636. Students should be rightly proud to attend Rye College and understand our commitment to "Creating Bright Futures for All".
