A group of our Wurlitzer Academy students enjoyed a very special day out at sea on Friday, playing three mini-concerts on an electronic organ, which had been especially installed for the day aboard the fully restored 1940s excursion ship, the Motor Vessel Balmoral, a member of the National Historic Fleet.

They sailed from Rye Harbour around the Kent coast and up the River Thames to Tower Pier. A highlight was standing on the top deck to see the London traffic stop and Tower Bridge open just for us all to pass through.

The day was a great success, with the passengers really enjoying the music and the Balmoral team keen that we unite with them again next year.
